Is Chelsea Still Interested In Buying Oshimen?

Chelsea has shown so much interest to sign Victor Oshimen since July but Oshimen demanded a weekly about €500,000 which is said to be €11M but Chelsea rejected it.

Already Napoli has shortlisted Victor Oshimen and wants him out of the club this summer, in the recent days, Al Hilal had submitted an official bid to Napoli asking for Victor Oshimen's signature but he turn down the offer.

Napoli and Chelsea had reach an agreement fee of €30M plus €15M add-ons to sign Romelu Lukaku which was considered to be a separate deals not a swap deal or loan.

Victor Osimhen's agent, Roberto Calenda has once again hit back at suggestions of the player being used in a transfer move this summer. The Italian had previously caused a stir after calling out 'fake news' following reports that Chelsea were discussing a possible swap deal with Napoli for the player.

"Osimhen is a Napoli player, with a contract recently renewed to mutual satisfaction", Calenda wrote on X/Twitter. "He made history in blue and when there were important offers (also this year) we always accepted the club's decisions.

"As I said, it is not a package to be sent far away to make room for new prophets. Victor was elected African Footballer of the Year, eighth in the Ballon d'Or, he still has a lot to say in Europe. Respect and balance are needed."

Victor Osimhen is ready to snub a switch to Saudi Arabia and will wait on Chelsea to make their move before deciding where his future lies.

The Nigeria striker had appeared set join Al-Ahli after Napoli reportedly agreed a deal.

However, after his agent Roberto Calenda took to social media to insist his star client has “much more to offer in Europe”, sources have told i Osimhen will wait and see what other offers come in before the transfer window closes across Europe.
